JWST Master Class Workshop, 27-28 February, 2020 in Athens

Welcome at the registration site of the  James Web Space Telescope (JWST) Master Class Workshop to be held in the premises of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens on February 27-28 2020. The aim of the workshop will be to familiarise the local community with the use of the largest National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)/European Space Agency (ESA) future space mission. With the launch date of the JWST approaching, the phase I proposal deadline is expected to be around May 2020. In preparation of this event, ESA in association with the NKUA and the Institute of Astrophysics - FORTH (IA-FORTH) is organizing a Master Class to help the local astronomical community (Greek astronomers and physics student) develop the necessary skills for the submission of successful JWST proposals. Overview of the mission, presentation of the instruments, and demonstration of the tools will take place. There will be no registration fee, however registration for the workshop is required. To register, please follow the “Registration" link.
